TERMS & CONDITIONS

The following Terms & Conditions apply to electronic commerce via the website: haja.pt, owned by the brand HAJA.PT, LDA. The aforementioned Terms & Conditions are agreed between the brand HAJA.PT, LDA, legal entity number 517568500, headquartered in Lisbon, Portugal and any non-legal entity determined as a customer.

By accepting the Terms & Conditions referred to, the customer declares that he/she agrees with their content. Before proceeding with your purchase, you must read them carefully. After completing the purchase, general knowledge and respective acceptance of the Terms & Conditions is assumed.

When purchasing on this website, the customer undertakes to be of legal age or, in the case of being a minor, to respect prior authorization from their parents, guardians or legal representatives.

The products sold on this website can only be purchased and delivered in Portugal (Mainland and Islands), and other addresses will be refused during the order process.


Products
The products sold by HAJA.PT, LDA (NIPC 517568500) are new and are declared in compliance with Portuguese legislation. The prices are those stated on the website haja.pt , quoted in Euros (€), including VAT at the rate in force at the time of purchase. HAJA reserves the right to change the price of its items at any time.

Under Article 63 of the new RJOC law, Law No. 98/2015 of 18 August, we declare that the daily quotations for gold, silver, platinum and palladium can be consulted here . All precious metal products are legally marked.

As it sells jewelry, HAJA.PT, LDA is registered with the Portuguese Assay Office of the Casa da Moeda under title number T10077, which is essential for commercial activity.

The quality of the products is guaranteed by quality control, however the customer must preserve the pieces in the best possible way. See some advice here .


Placing orders
Orders via the website are placed through: haja.pt , and any other website/location, even if pretending to be the HAJA.PT, LDA brand, will not be secure or credited.

To purchase, the customer must select all the desired products and add them to the cart. During the checkout process, the customer must ensure payment of the aforementioned amount and the respective tax and shipping fees. To complete the purchase, the customer must validate that he/she agrees to these Terms & Conditions.

After completing the purchase and making the corresponding payment, the customer receives an email confirming the transaction, which begins the packaging and subsequent shipping process.

The customer is responsible for correctly completing the purchase form for the orders they place. HAJA hereby warns that the authenticity of the data compromises the entire ordering process, shipping and the possibility of contacting the customer, therefore the customer must ensure the veracity of the data, or inform the brand of any changes. By agreeing to the following Terms & Conditions, the customer declares not to use false identities.

HAJA declares that it is not responsible for delays, anomalies in the ordering process or delivery of products, when these occur due to errors or invalid data communicated by customers. If the order is returned due to invalid or insufficient data, the new shipment of the order will have the same value as that corresponding to the delivery zone.

HAJA is not responsible for any incident during the use of the platform via the internet network used by the customer - such as viruses, computer failures or others.


Payment methods
HAJA offers the following payment methods: MBWay, PayPal, ApplePay, VISA, Mastercard and MB Reference. Cash on delivery payments are not accepted.

Once the order is complete, the purchase will be recorded and, in the case of MBWAY or Multibanco, there will be a payment deadline so that the order process can be completed. If this deadline is not guaranteed, the order will be cancelled. Any stock shortages during this payment confirmation period will be immediately informed to the customer by our team.

Transactions made through our website are secure and therefore we guarantee that the associated data will not be saved, they will only be processed within the scope of payment authorization.


Deliveries
After payment confirmation, the order shipping process begins. We only offer one type of shipping - Home Delivery via CTT Registered Mail - and all purchases made after dispatch are delivered within an average of 2-4 working days in the case of mainland Portugal and approximately 5-14 working days in the case of the Islands. Orders placed after 2pm may be processed the following day. Delivery times may vary due to a carrier malfunction or interference from national or local holidays. There are also times of the year that delay shipping processes due to increased shopping flow.

Once the order has been placed, the billing details cannot be changed. HAJA has no influence on address changes, and the customer may attempt to make the change with the carrier. As previously mentioned, the authenticity of the details or even their insufficiency compromises the entire shipping process, so we strongly encourage the customer to be careful when filling out the purchase form.

When the order is shipped, the customer will be notified via email with the shipping number and a link so that they can track the order through the carrier. Shipping information may take time to be updated.

Orders are delivered on business days, with possible exceptions on national or local holidays.

Anomalies or direct complaints with the carrier must be reported to them, and the customer can contact HAJA so that we can help them.

Product orders are limited to existing stock, so if there is a permanent or temporary stock shortage, the customer will be notified and given the choice of exchanging the item for another item or receiving a full refund, at no additional cost.

Orders are packed with all necessary care to ensure that the items are not damaged during transport. However, if you notice any anomaly in the box, we ask that you immediately take a photo to present as proof to the carrier.


Use of customer data
The customer declares that he/she accepts that information, statements or other documents about his/her order will be sent to the email address he/she indicated during the purchase process. This email address, stored securely in HAJA's computer system, will only be used for purposes related to the order or others when accepted by the customer, as guaranteed by the privacy policy .

HAJA is not responsible for any loss that the customer may suffer if they provide their data to a third party.


Intellectual property
All content contained on the website haja.pt is the exclusive property of HAJA.PT, LDA and is protected by the Copyright Code. The image used, known as the brand logo, is registered with the INPI and cannot be copied or imitated. When used for sharing or study purposes, it must be maintained in accordance with the original, always bearing in mind that the rights belong to the company HAJA.PT, LDA.


Exchanges and Returns
If the customer is not completely satisfied with the HAJA order, they must fill out the contact form within a maximum period of 15 days after receipt, informing us in the "MESSAGE" field of the order number and the date of purchase.

Please note that exchanges or returns are only possible if the item is in the same condition as when purchased, accompanied by the original packaging, invoice and order number. Exchanges or returns of items that have been used, altered or damaged will not be accepted.

The exchange is only possible for an item of equal or greater value, in which case it is necessary to pay the difference.

Shipping/collection fees, for both exchanges and returns, are always covered by the customer, unless the item is damaged.

The refund is only for the purchase amount, shipping costs will not be refunded. The refund is made through the same payment method.

The refund period will be defined as soon as HAJA receives the item, and should not exceed 5 working days after we receive the item to be exchanged/returned. The refund will only be made after the item arrives at our facilities and we verify that it is in the same condition.

The above-mentioned conditions are governed by Portuguese Law and the transaction between the parties is subject, if necessary, to the jurisdiction of the Portuguese Courts. In the event of a dispute, the consumer may resort to the Lisbon Consumer Dispute Arbitration Center.

The customer may also choose to submit a formal statement via the Complaints Book .
